German B1 Study Plan: Daily Schedule

The recommended order is reviews first, then new vocabulary. Mixed practice and graded reading unlock from the percentage of this level you have introduced; that percentage is not called mastery. Open Customize Study to pause, cap, reorder or reschedule each module independently.

Every word carries the same Again, Hard, Good and Easy grades as the flashcards and vocabulary list. Mark a word done to stop its reviews, or use remind me to choose a gap yourself.

Due words are cleared one at a time, by giving them a longer gap or marking them done. There is no finish-day or skip step: unfinished work stays on the list, and a clear day offers Study ahead.

New words wait for you. Anything left unmarked is still first when you return, so a week away does not silently skip part of the list.

Reviews are the exception. They come due on real dates and roll into the next day you show up, stacking up the way an Anki backlog does.

Both. Clear the current assignment and choose Study ahead to pull the next list into this sitting. The day strip on your Today page also jumps back to re-mark something you studied earlier.

Three finish times to pick from. The daily list is worked out from the one you choose, and you can change it whenever you like.

Yes. Every level keeps its own plan, pace and day count, so starting this one leaves any plan you already have running exactly where it is.

Yes. Switch today's list from List to Cards and the same words come one at a time: the German on the front, the meaning, an example sentence and the same four scheduling grades on the back. A word marked on a card is marked in the list, and the other way round.

After clearing the cards, choose Increase today’s limit to add extra new words. This also expands today’s list. Unused extra slots expire at local midnight, and your usual daily target stays the same.

The B1 flashcard deck is the other way in. It deals from this list, in this order, and writes to the same record: a word you answer in the deck is a word this plan shows as scheduled, and a word you mark done here never comes up as a card. While a plan is running the deck stops introducing new words at the end of today's list, so the two cannot drift apart.

In the list view, one toggle blurs every meaning in the day's list so you can self-test. Click a blurred answer to check yourself, click again to hide it. Each field reveals on its own, so checking one word does not spoil the next. It starts on, since the point of the day's list is to test yourself. Switch it off and it stays off.

At the steady pace of 20 words a day, which finishes B1 in 81 days. Words follow the same order as the B1 vocabulary list, commonest first, so you can browse ahead any time.

The plan keeps going as maintenance. New words are the one part that can run out. Reviews still come due on their own dates, and mixed practice and graded reading keep the cadence you set for them, drawing on B1 items you have not seen recently.

Your day card stops promising a finish date and reports the whole list as introduced. Keep it as it is, change it in Customize Study, or leave the plan; your marked words stay either way.
