German Practice Questions, A1 to C2
2,303 multiple-choice questions in five exam formats, graded so that every word you meet is one you should already know at that level. Each item shows its answer, the line of text that proves it, and why the other options fail.

Common questions
Are these real Goethe or telc exam questions?
No. They are modelled on the task formats those exams use — Sprachbausteine, Leseverstehen, richtig/falsch — but they are written for this site, not taken from a paper. Use them to drill the format and your vocabulary, not to predict a score.
How are the questions kept at the right level?
Every word in the stem and in every option is checked against the vocabulary list up to that level, including inflected forms. A word above the level is only allowed if it is common enough to fall inside a per-level frequency budget. Items that failed that check were dropped, not softened.
Who wrote them?
A language model wrote them, grounded in the reading texts and the example sentences. A second model pass then answered every item blind, with the options already shuffled, and flagged anything ambiguous — disagreements were dropped. Nothing here has been reviewed by a teacher, so treat a question that looks wrong as possibly wrong.
Do I need an account to track my score?
No. Scoring runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. Reload the page and you start fresh.
