Staying at somebody's place is bei plus the dative: bei uns, bei meiner Freundin.

Dative person, accusative thing

Samstags zeige ich ihr die Stadt.

Zeigen takes both: ihr (to her, dative) and die Stadt (the thing shown, accusative).

zum = zu dem

Sonntags fahren wir zusammen zum Bahnhof.

Zu takes the dative, and zu dem contracts to zum: zum Bahnhof, zum Arzt.
