Meine Arbeit

Ich arbeite in einem kleinen Geschäft in der Stadt.

I work in a small shop in town.

Wir haben Brot, Kuchen und Kaffee.

We have bread, cake and coffee.

Meine Arbeit ist sehr früh.

My work starts very early.

Ich muss um sechs Uhr da sein.

I have to be there at six o'clock.

Zuerst mache ich die Tür auf und koche Kaffee.

First I open the door and make coffee.

Dann kommen die ersten Leute.

Then the first people arrive.

Ich kenne alle und wir sprechen kurz.

I know them all and we chat briefly.

Um zwei Uhr ist meine Arbeit zu Ende.

At two o'clock my work is over.

Der Tag ist lang, aber die Leute sind nett.

The day is long, but the people are nice.
