Rathaus

Rathaus nennt man das Haus, in dem die Politiker und Mitarbeiter einer Stadt oder Gemeinde „Politik machen“ und arbeiten.

The town hall is the name given to the house where the politicians and employees of a city or municipality 'do politics' and work.

Hier trifft sich der Stadtrat oder Rat, das heißt die Volksvertretung der Stadt.
