What is in a German reading test?
German texts with multiple-choice and true-or-false questions, plus A1 to B2 tests with adverts, matching tasks and sentence gaps in the Goethe format. Each answer includes evidence from its text.
How should I approach a reading question?
Read the text once through without stopping, then read the question and go back for the specific line. Every explanation quotes that line, so you can check whether you were reading or guessing.
Why do I keep getting richtig or falsch wrong?
Almost always from reading the statement into the text rather than out of it. Find the sentence the statement is about before deciding, and check it word for word, especially quantities, negation and who did what to whom.
How many A2 reading tests are there?
24, with 359 questions and answers. Every word used is within the A2 vocabulary, and every answer is explained.
Are the tests free?
Every reading test is for members, $7 a month on Patreon, or lifetime access bought once.
