möchte, the polite want

Ich möchte ein Auto.

möchte is the everyday polite way of saying want. It behaves like a modal verb: ich möchte, er möchte — the third person takes no ending.

man for people in general

Ein gutes Auto bekommt man nicht für wenig Geld.

man is an impersonal subject, like English one or a general you, and it always takes the third person singular: man bekommt, man macht.

Dative before accusative

Der Mann zeigt mir am Samstag zwei Autos.

zeigen takes both objects: the person in the dative (mir) and the thing in the accusative (zwei Autos). The dative comes first.
