Often I have no answer.

Dann sage ich: Das ist ein gutes Thema für morgen.

Then I say: that is a good topic for tomorrow.

Am Abend denke ich über ihre Fragen nach.

In the evening I think about her questions.

Kinder finden immer wieder neue Fragen, und das ist auch gut so.

Children keep finding new questions, and that is a good thing.

Grammar in this text

Question word first, verb second

Warum ist die Nacht so lang?

A question that opens with a question word keeps the verb in position two: Warum ist die Nacht ...? Only a yes/no question puts the verb first.

A separable verb leaves its prefix at the end

Am Abend denke ich über ihre Fragen nach.

nachdenken splits in a main clause: denke stands second and the prefix nach goes to the very end.

kein negates a noun, nicht negates the rest

Oft weiß ich keine Antwort.

kein replaces the article of a noun: keine Antwort, kein Geld. nicht negates verbs, adjectives and whole sentences.
