Common questions
How do these conjugation questions work?
You get one form of a verb (“du gehst”) and supply another form of the same verb for the person the item names. The form you are given is what fixes the tense, so no grammatical terminology is needed to answer; the tense is named in the explanation afterwards.
Where do the answers come from?
The paradigm tables in the grammar section, which come from German Wiktionary. Nothing here is written by a model: the answer is the table's entry for the person asked, and the wrong options are other entries from the same verb. Where a verb has two accepted forms, both count as correct and neither is used as a distractor.
Which tenses appear at my level?
The ones a course at that level has taught. A1 drills the present and the perfect, A2 adds the preterite and the future, B1 the Konjunktiv II, and the upper levels the pluperfect, the Konjunktiv I and the future perfect. A higher level keeps everything below it.
How many verb conjugation questions are there at B2?
120, in 12 sets of 10. Every word used is within the B2 vocabulary.
