Formkein + Substantiv (mit den Endungen von ein)
Meaning and usage
kein negates a noun that would otherwise take ein or no article at all. It takes the same endings as ein: kein before masculine and neuter nouns, keine before feminine and plural nouns, and keinen before masculine nouns in the accusative. For example, ein Wasser becomes kein Wasser, and eine Frage becomes keine Frage.
Use kein when you deny a thing or a person in general. Use nicht for everything else, and also for a noun with der, die, das or a possessive article. The common mistake is using nicht with an indefinite article or a bare noun, as in nicht ein Wasser or nicht Wasser instead of kein Wasser.

Correct answer: keine
Zeit is a feminine noun, so the negating article is keine. nicht cannot stand directly before Zeit here.
- kein is the form for masculine and neuter nouns, not for a feminine noun.
- nicht negates verbs, adjectives and whole statements, not a bare noun like Zeit.
- keinen is the accusative form for masculine nouns, not for a feminine noun.
