Das kommt nicht in Frage.

in Frage kommen: to be an option, to be possible

Formetwas kommt (nicht) in Frage | infrage kommen

Meaning and usage

in Frage kommen means to be an option, to be worth considering: Für die Stelle kommen nur zwei Bewerber in Frage. It is used most in the negative, as a firm no: Das kommt überhaupt nicht in Frage (that's out of the question). The subject can be a thing, a person, or an infinitive phrase: Tom zu bitten kommt wohl nicht in Frage.

There is no article: never in die Frage. Both spellings are correct, in Frage and infrage. Do not mix it up with in Frage stellen, which means to doubt something: Er stellt meine Entscheidung in Frage.
