Meaning and usage
weder … noch means neither … nor: Ich habe weder Zeit noch Geld, Sie ist weder in der Küche noch im Wohnzimmer, Ich kann das weder bestätigen noch bestreiten. Both possibilities are ruled out.
The construction is already negative, so there is no nicht or kein: Ich habe weder Zeit noch Geld, not weder keine Zeit noch kein Geld. Learners also copy English or, as in weder Zeit oder Geld; the partner of weder is noch.
