Formjeder/jede/jedes + Nomen (Singular)
Meaning and usage
jeder means every or each and always goes with a singular noun. It declines like der: jeder Schüler, jede Frau, jedes Kind. In other cases the ending changes the same way: in jedem Haus, mit jedem Kind, vor jedem Essen.
For a plural noun German uses alle, for example alle Kinder, not a form of jeder. A common mistake is using the wrong ending, like jeder Kind instead of jedes Kind, or using jeder with a plural noun. Learn the three nominative forms together: jeder, jede, jedes.
