Formwürde (Position 2) + gern + Infinitiv (Ende)
Meaning and usage
würde plus gern and an infinitive means that someone would like to do something. The form würde comes from werden and changes for the person: ich würde, du würdest, er würde, wir würden, sie würden. The infinitive goes at the end of the sentence. Use this pattern for wishes and polite plans, especially when you name an action.
The word gern sits before the infinitive. With lieber the meaning becomes would rather: Ich würde lieber schlafen. A common mistake is to put the infinitive in the middle of the sentence, as in Ich würde mitkommen gern, which is not German. The infinitive belongs at the end.

Correct answer: würde
The subject Meine Schwester is third person singular, so the verb form is würde. The other forms belong to du, wir or ihr and do not match this subject.
- würdest is the form for du, but the subject here is Meine Schwester.
- würden is the form for wir or sie (plural), not for one sister.
- würdet is the form for ihr, which does not appear in this sentence.
